By submitting a charity plate application, the applicant consents to the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles sharing the information provided with the selected charitable organization. Such information may include the applicant’s name, address, telephone number, and/or email address.
Payment Disclosure: The Dominican Charity Plate pre-order amount is $43.50. A $1.85 PayPal processing fee is added to help cover the cost of processing online payments, for a total initial payment of $45.35.
Renewal: The $45.35 is a one-time initial plate production cost. After the plate is issued, the Charity Plate renewal fee will be $10.00 at each renewal period.
Distribution: Once the minimum requirement of 600 prepaid pre-orders has been reached and the first 600 plates are ready for distribution, DIHACRI will notify applicants with details about the distribution event, including when and where plates can be picked up.
